In these verses from the Injil Sharif we see Hazrat Isa (PBUH) being tempted by Iblis. Iblis shows Hazrat Isa all the kingdoms of the world and offers them all to Hazrat Isa if Hazrat Isa would bow down and worship Iblis. Hazrat Isa al Masih resisted this temptation by quoting a verse from the Tawrat - Deuteronomy 6:13. From this we learn that Hazrat Isa al Masih memorized and remembered verses from God's Word to help him resist temptations when they came to him.
