This is the description of that great and frightening day. God will appear on a great white throne . All the dead, great and small will stand before God and the books will be opened. People will be judged for what they did. Then the final book will be opened, the Book of Life. After the judgment, death and those who did evil will be thrown into the lake of fire - the second death. Those whose names were written in the Book of Life will be given eternal life with God.
