Those who follow Hazrat Isa al Masih (PBUH) believe in the coming Day of Judgment. That is the time at the end of the world when God will raise everyone from the dead and judge them for the things they did when they were alive.

Messiah means The Anointed One. God chose and anointed Hazrat Isa (PBUH) for a special job. First, Hazrat Isa was anointed and filled with God's Spirit so he could show us the way to live our lives in ways that please God. Second, he was also chosen to set us free from our greatest enemies - Satan, nafs il amara bilsu, sin, and death. Satan is our enemy. We cannot see him or the other devils; but they can see us. And they attack us. Also, inside of us we have the wrong nafs - nafs il amara bilsu. Sometimes we can't resist temptation, and sometimes we do not want to resist. This is all because of this nafs. So, nafs and sin are great enemies. Finally, death is a terrible enemy that comes to everyone. Hazrat Isa was chosen and anointed to set us free from these enemies and then give us the power we need to live in the way that pleases God.

Hazrat Ibrahim (PBUH) was called the friend of Allah. This is because he loved God and did what pleased God and God loved him. One of the ways God showed his love was by talking with Hazrat Ibrahim. The Tawrat also tells us that Allah loved and talked with Hazrat Musa (PBUH). God also loved and spoke to Hazrat Younas (PBUH) and the other prophets. So, if God loved and spoke to them, and God does not change, does God love and talk with us? God's Word tells us that he does. He shows his love to us by giving us his Holy Spirit and he speaks to us through his Spirit. But for God to talk to us, we need to submit to him and talk to him. This is what prayer is - talking with God.

When Hazrat Isa al Masih lived on the earth he did amazing things. As we read about him in the Gospel according to Luke, we see that he healed people, he calmed storms, he had power over demons and the evil eye, he took care of people by feeding them, he raised people from the dead, and he forgave people their sins.

Often we are asked: Do you do nmunz? How do you do nmunz? The word nmunz means worship. Isawian across the world worship Allah in different ways. Hazrat Isa al Mashi (PBUH) told us that it didn't matter where we did nmunz or what way we did it. As you will see below, what matters to Allah is that we worship in Spirit and truth. We will explain what that means.

Isayan refer to Allah as Father. The Tawrat Sharif teaches us that God created the world and everything in it. He also made human beings different than the animals and all the other parts of this good creation. Humans were made special. We were made with the ability to know God, to love God, and to show our love by obeying God's commands. God, therefore, has a special love for all human beings. When we submit to him and to his Messiah, and receive his cleansing and Spirit, we are brought into a special relationship with Allah. This relationship is like a Father with his children, and children with their Father.

The life of a follower of Hazrat Isa (PBUH)is to be like the life of Hazrat Isa; and Hazrat Isa's' life was shaped by the Sharia of God. The Sharia identifies that which is forbidden and the Sharia tells us about the qualities God wants in us. This post describes the Sharia we are to follow.

When we are given new hearts and receive the Holy Spirit, we become new people; but we are not perfect. We make mistakes. Sometimes we get angry, gossip, or do something else wrong. Afterwards, because we love Allah, we realize that we did wrong and we feel ashamed. What do we do when these things happen? We are to ask forgiveness from those we hurt. We are also to pray and ask Allah for his forgiveness. Over time we mature and do these things less and less. This post looks at this process of confessing and maturing.

Those who love Allah love his words and his Sharia. They study and meditate on them. God's Sharia and his words give the devotee wisdom, understanding, and delight.

In our last post we looked at the importance of the Word of Allah in the life of a devotee of Allah. In this post we will look at the importance of Remembering. Different groups have their own methods for remembering. Some chant words like Ya-Allahu. In this post we will look at how Hazrat Isa al Masih (PBUH) did remembering and how the Prophet Daud (PBUH) did remembering to guide us in how followers of Hazrat Isa do remembering.

In this post we will talk about how to prepare ourselves to receive the Spirit of Allah. Thanks to Allah's mercy, Hazrat Isa al Masih is alive in heaven, and he is the one who sends the Spirit down upon us. He wants to send the Spirit down upon us; but we need to prepare ourselves to receive the Spirit.

When we bow down and tell Allah and Hazrat Isa al Masih (PBUH) that we dedicate ourselves to following Hazrat Isa al Masih, the Father and Hazrat Isa al Masih will respond immediately and pour out upon us the Holy Spirit. When Allah and Hazrat al Masih do this, we may feel different, we may immediately sense a change in our mind and emotions; but we may not feel any different. Our feelings do not matter. What matters is our confidence in God and in his promises. Here are some verses to help you understand what God is like when we ask him for his Spirit.

When we dedicate ourselves to loving Allah and Hazrat Isa al Masih (PBUH), we receive the Holy Spirit. However, we have spent years thinking in wrong ways and developing many bad habits. In some ways we are like an old house. The old house has changed owners. Before our dedication, we were the owners. Now that we are devoted to loving and obeying Allah and Hazrat Isa, they are the owners; and they and the Spirit are now living in us. Yet, the house is old and many rooms need cleaning and repair. The Spirit now wants to take us on a journey of cleaning and repairing the many different rooms in the house - changing our many wrong thoughts, our many wrong attitudes and many wrong habits. This is a process, a process of cleaning and repairing one room at a time. This post describes the Spirit's process of cleansing and change.

We who love Allah want to do what pleases him. Consequently, we need to know what pleases him and what does not. This post describes what Allah hates so we can avoid these things. Below are the thoughts of the Prophet Daud (PBUH), who was a devotee of Allah. These are in the Zabur Sharif. Devotees of Allah do not always know how to talk to Allah or how to talk about their love for him. So, they use the Zabur Sharif to teach them how. As they bow before Allah they use these words of the Prophet as their own . As you read, you will see that these are beautiful words. When they are spoken in Spirit and truth, Allah is very pleased.
